Product Description
Silicon steel coils (also known as electrical steel coils) are a type of iron-silicon soft magnetic alloy material with a silicon content ranging from 0.5% to 4.5%. They possess characteristics such as high magnetic permeability, low coercivity, and high resistivity, and are mainly used in the manufacturing of iron cores for electrical equipment like motors and transformers.
Silicon steel generally refers to cold-rolled silicon steel, which is divided into two major categories: grain-oriented silicon steel and non-grain-oriented silicon steel. In grain-oriented silicon steel, the easily magnetized crystal grains are distributed along the rolling direction. The rolling direction exhibits excellent properties such as high magnetic induction, low iron loss, and low magnetostriction, making it widely used in industries such as transformers, reactors, mutual inductors, and motors. Additionally, even lower iron loss can be achieved through technical treatment of domain refinement.
